MESHMANIP TUTORIAL 1

BONES AND WEIGHTS

when you have made your model in you chosen 3d application. and put it through Med to get it in game. You then need to make sure that the model is roughly the same size and facing the same direction as the mesh file you are copying the bones and weights from.

Now open up MeshManip and open the model in it and also the mesh file you are copying from.

Now the first step.

highlight your model name in the directory and click on edit-modify.

you are now given a few options on the right hand side. Tick which option you need and press update.

Now you click the mesh file you are using and open up the tree, go down to bones highlight it and go to edit-copy,

now go to your model file and highlight the bones there, go to edit- paste,

you will now see that the bones of your model as the same bones as the mesh file you copied from.
